Introduction

The UK has a lot of individual talent scattered around a wide number of teams. We want to bring those athletes together to make a true representation of the top standard. We have to stop the mentality of being content with mediocrity; boundaries need to be pushed in the UK allowing us to close the gap set by top American teams. A place on the squad should be something every young athlete aspires towards, this place should be earned from their dedication to train harder and push their abilities. topSTUNTZ.com are selecting a squad representing the best of UK based partner stunt and tumble athletes.

The squad is being organised by Martin Kendrick and Nathan Cookson. Four invitational skills training camps were held at MK cheerleading gym to assess athletes level / potential and help them develop their skills to the required standard. Based on these camps we selected an initial squad to commence training in June. Over the summer we will be doing displays and promo to show what the squad is all about in preparation for final trials on August 1st 2010. The squad will comprise of a maximum 30 bases and 30 flyers but is likely to around 40 in total of which all will fulfil a minimum skills requirement. Athletes must be 16 by 19/06/2010. As the squad will only be performing in displays, topSTUNTZ Revolution athletes will be able to be part of another competitive team if they so choose. The squad will receive American coaching, guidance, choreography and music.

If you would like to be considered for trials, upload videos of your skills to topSTUNTZ.com

We aim to provide a squad where all the best UK athletes can combine to represent the talent we have to offer in the UK. We hope to train all the top athletes to be able to perform in elite displays, teaching them skills that will enhance and strengthen their ability. All sessions will give every athlete the opportunity to train at an elite level and show their skills. The sessions will be fun and productive, but also provide athletes the opportunity of working on their own personal goals. A place on the squad should be something every young athlete aspires towards. It should provide motivation to train harder.

Do NOT be content with mediocrity!
